Neeraj Garg – Taking the OSAW Legacy Forward

Maternal Grandson of Sh. Panna Lal, Mr. Neeraj Garg was identified as the face within the family with excellent business acumen, leadership qualities, technical excellence and capabilities to take the legacy of Oriental Science Apparatus Workshops (OSAW India) to the next level. He graduated from Roorkee University, BITS Ranchi and REC (Now called NIT). In 1990, he joined the OSAW after worked in almost all management disciplines including purchase, manufacturing, finance, personnel management, exports marketing, production, planning and quality control. From 1997-2007, he was able to diversify and expand the OSAW’s business to new markets, expanding new horizons and penetrating the exports.

Due to his business acumen, he not only worked towards marketing and increasing sales, Production Cycle of the Company too was reduced thus multiplying the efficiency and outputs in production. In 2006, OSAW got ISO 9001 certified. OSAW which was a reputed name in domestic supply of Scientific and Laboratory Equipments since 1919, under the leadership of Neeraj Garg entered Global Markets including Greece, Portugal, England, Germany, Itlay, France, Yemen, Ethiopia, Iraq, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Australia, Vietnam, Phillipines, Singapore, United Nation’s Projectsin Lebanon, Sierra Leone, Uganda, Malawi, Madagaskar, Ethiopia and Sri Lanka etc. Apart fro new horizons, OSAW entered into trading of not just scientific instruments but new products like Chemicals, Biology Charts, Specimens, Models, Sport Equipment, First Aid Kits, Mosquito Nets, Camping Tents and Equipments, Stationery Instruments and Electronic Components.
