GrabOn Stood Tall At The August Fest 2015

If you attended The August Fest 2015 then you will know what were the highs and lows of it. And if you did not then let me tell you this – it was feast for all the budding entrepreneurs. There was so much to learn and absorb from all those companies who put up their stall at this startup fest. The best part remains to be the diversity of ideas that every company was unique on its own even if they had a similar idea. For once, you could see different types of industry be it food, cabs, recruitment, coupons, art, gaming and more. You could find established companies like GrabOn and Zoom Cars as well.

But what stood out in this fest? Rather who stood out in this fest? To no one’s surprise, it was GrabOn. This coupons and deals company made so much noise with their goodies like free coupons from leading e-commerce stores like OYO Rooms, TinyOwl & more for all the stall visitors, candies & chocolates, water bottles and Wall Of Entrepreneurs. Well, obvious the free goodies did catch a lot of attention but what made them the “Star of the Fest” was that wall. You could see how well-known entrepreneurs were eagerly penning down their thoughts on this wall.

The uniqueness of this wall was that they had plastered the wall with various entrepreneurs habits. So any entrepreneurs who visited their stall had to write which one they are and write something about their journey. People were taking selfies near the wall and with the team. The enthusiasm was running so high in this particular stall that it was magnetic and people kept coming. The team was ever so patient to explain anyone and everyone who wanted to know more about the company. After listening to them, I realized that their journey to success was pretty fast but a lot of hard work went into building this company and getting it to this position.

Apart from this company, a lot of other startups made a nice impression and did land initial investors. So all in all, The August Fest 2015 was that one event that no one should have missed especially people who are keen to learn more about startups, their work culture, their success story and more.
